The Regas Tradition
Honored as the most award-winning restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee, Regas has represented excellence in dining since 1919. From hearty lunches to elegant dinners, Regas exemplifies the very best of Knoxville's notable restaurant heritage.
Frank and George Regas, immigrants from Patras, Greece, first opened the restaurant as a stool and counter establishment on July 7, 1919. Beginning with the $100 Frank Regas brought with him from Patras so long ago, the family has built its reputation on classic American food: steaks, New Zealand lobster, prime rib and clam chowder.
In 2001, Connor Concepts partnered with Regas to help preserve this Knoxville landmark. Today, Regas continues the tradition of preparing American cuisine at its best. From elegant dining rooms and a gracious wait staff to prime rib and our decadent red velvet cake, Regas sets the gold standard for fine dining in East Tennessee. |
